YELLOW-BILLED MAGPIES!
Yellow-billed Magpies are one of only 2 birds endemic to the State of California. They are on Audubon's Watchlist as a potentially threatened species. These incredibly intelligent corvids can be found in the central California valleys and make for great birding subjects, delighting the viewer with their comical antics.
Join us this Saturday morning on your local Fox Sports Network as we feature the quest for this week's Golden Bird, the Yellow-billed Magpie. Learn also about the kelp forest systems of the Santa Barbara coastline and a threatened near-endemic bird, the Tri-colored Blackbird.
